Meet our team
Brenda Cioce started her property management journey in sunny South Florida, working for Trammel Crow/Avalon Bay in 1989. She then joined Roseland Property Management in 1996 (acquired by Mack-Cali in 2012) as President of Property Management, overseeing operations while growing her portfolio from 3,000 units across 14 communities to over 10,000 units across 40. Brenda fostered a vibrant and collaborative corporate culture at Roseland, motivating (daily) over 350 employees to earn and maintain the highest property values and rents across her Class-A portfolio of mixed-use and high-, mid- and low-rise properties from Massachusetts to Washington, DC. In 2018, Brenda initiated a new and exciting path, rolling all her professional expertise and intuition into a new consultancy—RHO Residential. She proudly presides over a talented team and growing portfolio of communities that receive a brand of care, attention and guidance she has built a career perfecting.
David Schoer, as Chief Financial Officer, oversees RHO Residential’s financial planning, internal controls, and reporting. David brings expertise in financial, operational and strategic leadership from both the ownership side as well as managed service. He joins RHO from Saxum Real Estate, where he served as the Director of Accounting and Operations. At Saxum he oversaw the financial reporting for $2BN in real estate capitalizations, spanning across industrial, multifamily and office. Prior to joining Saxum, David worked as a senior property accountant in the accounting department at Roseland, a Mack-Cali company. In total David brings over fifteen years’ experience in the real estate industry, specializing in financial reporting.
Angelica began her career at a start-up insurance company. Over the course of 20 years at the same (now public) company, she learned a successful strategic business plan includes the ability to execute the plan; she developed critical-thinking skills by never being afraid to ask questions; and learned the biggest value in any organization is the people. these lessons learned were a natural transition to the next 6 years of her career as a consultant providing advisory services to clients including business transformation and enablement, digital and innovation. Driven with a passion to get things done, and on a mission to creating a team of curious and whip-smart people, it was a natural fit for her to join RHO Residential. At RHO, Angelica is a “Jill of all trades” where her responsibilities span across strategy (business planning, organizational design); process (risk management, communication); and people (recruiting, managing, and coaching). In her spare time, she enjoys napping with her miniature dachshund Frankie, riding on the back of her husband’s motorcycle, and watching interesting documentaries.
Gabriela serves as Vice President of Operations for RHO Residential, where she oversees Property Management and Technology. Gabriela has more than twenty years of multi-family and mixed-use Real Estate experience with extensive expertise on both the owner and fee-managed aspects of the business. Gabriela began her career with RHO Residential as part of the legacy Roseland Property family. Starting her Real Estate career as a Property Administrator, responsible for the compilation and distribution of all financial reporting and market analysis. Throughout her career, Gabriela has worked in corporate housing managing leasing, client relations, and lease administration. Gabriela has also focused on planning and development, new construction, acquisition, and lease up projects. On the financial side of the business she has extensive knowledge in accounting, financial analysis, developing budget programs including revenue and expense models, preparing audit compliance and assessment analysis. Gabriela led the successful rollout of YARDI software across the portfolio of 10,000 units with over 300 users handling all data conversion, software implementation and testing. Prior to joining RHO Residential, Gabriela the Director for FitechGelb, consulting on software conversions, upgrades, and implementations, and best practice reviews for Residential and Retail property management companies. Gabriela holds a Bachelor of Science, Finance, Rutgers University.
Tim brings to this role over 30 years of experience of real estate accounting in operations and development. As CFO, he has overall responsibility for general accounting management, financial reporting, investment & human resources oversight, as well as risk management of the existing and future RHO Residential properties/portfolios. Tim began his career with RHO Residential as part of the legacy Roseland Property family 1999-2008 as a Property Accountant before being promoted to Accounting Manager. 11 years later, Tim re-joined the team as our CFO. Prior to joining RHO Residential, Tim was a Senior Fund Controller at CBRE – Real Estate Investment Accounting & Reporting Solutions Group as a third-party administrator. Vice President for BlackRock’s Real Estate Fund Accounting and Investment Oversight Group, Accounting Manager at Roseland Property Companies, and Property Accountant at LRF Slater Companies. During his extensive career, Tim has implemented and rolled out accounting control and review audits – E&Y, developed accounting policies and procedures surrounding departmental SOC-1 compliance – PWC, fund level (portfolio/property) audits – D&T and Marcum, and responsible for the accounting of asset acquisitions/dispositions of real estate investments throughout the United States. Tim has been focused on multi-family residential, retail, and commercial properties for joint ventures as well as a wholly owned investments as a third-party property manager/administrator from large institutional clients to single-family real estate investors. With his diverse and extensive experience, Tim is uniquely positioned to bring a holistic approach to RHO Residential’s initiatives to all areas of our business.
With a passion for creativity and an understanding of market trends, Gina Barretti brings a wealth of experience as Marketing Director of RHO Residential. Drawing upon her extensive background in marketing, she is committed to delivering results-driven solutions that resonate with our target audiences. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of consumer behavior, Gina leverages data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies, optimize campaigns, and maximize ROI. In her role, Gina is responsible for crafting innovative strategies to elevate our brand and drive business growth, and oversees all aspects of our marketing efforts, from conceptualization to execution. She works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with our business objectives and maintains a laser focus on delivering measurable results. Under her leadership, our marketing initiatives consistently surpass expectations, driving brand awareness and customer engagement. Whether it’s through captivating digital campaigns, engaging social media initiatives, or strategic partnerships, Gina ensures that our corporate and client brands remain relevant and competitive in today’s ever-evolving marketplace. Gina is a graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Marketing.
Darla joined RHO in 2022 where she is responsible for recruitment, training, payroll and benefits. She was an independent insurance agency owner and operator for the past 17 years managing all facets of agency operations including but not limited to HR. In addition, she owns a real estate brokerage firm in Tennessee. Prior to that, she was a regional sales director for a healthcare company. She has a Masters degree in Social Work from University of Tennessee and received her Bachelor’s degree from University of Mississippi.
Brooke Nielsen started her career in property management in 2009 where she worked in military housing at Fort Drum, NY. She helped soldiers and their families move into new homes, plan community events, address community issues and assist in the move out process. In 2012, Brooke moved back to New Jersey and joined Roseland Property Company as a Leasing Specialist. Throughout her tenure at Roseland, she was recognized for her passion for customer service, leadership, and attention to detail. She joined RHO Residential in 2019 as Regional Director where she is currently responsible for the oversight of 7 properties, 25 employees. She focuses on providing her team with guidance, training and support in all aspects of property management including leasing, maintenance, and financial reporting.
Kevin O’Donnell began his career in property management in 1995 with AvalonBay Communities. Over the past 20 plus years he has achieved a vast level of knowledge and experience in the Property Management Industry, having worked with some outstanding companies, including Roseland Property Company and Edgewood Properties in many different markets throughout New Jersey. Kevin brings key ingredients to the Regional Director role with expertise in Multi Property Oversight, Strategic Planning, Operations, Team Building, Accounting, Compliance and Contract Negotiation. Kevin is an alumnus of Saint Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, NY as well as a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the state of New Jersey.
Frankie Chancho Sinatra
Frankie was born just outside of New Orleans and comes from a litter of 6. He prides himself in being the only blue and tan dachshund in his family. He moved to NJ and joined the RHO Residential Executive Team in 2019. As Head of Puplick Relations, he assists Gina Barretti (Marketing Director) with engaging target audiences and boosting our brand awareness. His responsibilities include maximizing brand presence on web and social media channels; ensuring brand consistency; and organizing events to increase awareness of RHO Residential. He is currently working on RHO’s charitable and philanthropic efforts focused on animal shelters and rescue. In his free time, he enjoys eating (anything), sleeping, and kayaking.
