Canoe Brook, PGIM see strong leasing momentum at new 426-unit Port Imperial project

A new addition to the acclaimed Port Imperial district is nearing a milestone after hitting the market earlier this year, offering unobstructed views of the New York City skyline, direct access to the Hudson River and a host of upscale amenities and mass transit options.

Known as The Altiers, the 426-unit project by Canoe Brook Development and PGIM welcomed its first residents in late June after opening at 28 Avenue at Port Imperial. It’s now about 50 percent leased, reflecting what its developers say is continued demand for the type of upscale housing that has defined the 200-acre, master-planned district over multiple decades.
